Children Ministry
Children are precious and significant in God. In Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
We are reminded in Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Also in Matthew 21:16 “Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants, you have perfected praise.”
The children ministry is divided into (1) children’s hour for ages 3 to 6 years old and (2) Bible School for ages 7 to 12 years old. The children ministry meets on every Saturday from 4.00pm to 5.30pm concurrently with the main church worship service. To encourage parents-children bolding, every first Saturday of the month (or last Saturday of the month if Sunday falls on the following month), the children will worship together with their parents at the main church worship service before going for the children classes.
We have a fun-loving, caring, biblical-knowledgeable and dedicated group of teachers to excite and nurture the children. Let’s come and join our children ministry.

Hokkien Ministry
Service every Saturday 4.00pm at Faith Hall (Basement)
Our regular attendances range from 30 to 45. We welcome members and friends of Holy Light Church (English) who have parents, relatives and friends who are still pre-Christians, to bring them to the Hokkien Service if they can understand either Hokkien or Teochew. Our singing session each Saturday is encouraging. Members look forward to participate in the singing very simple songs, which is sung to the tune of a secular mandarin song of the 1950s.

Agape Youth Fellowship
Alpha Ministry
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. Typically Alpha has around ten sessions and includes food, a short talk and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts. Alpha really is for anyone who’s curious. The talks are designed to encourage debate and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, honest and informal environment.
Senior Citizens
Our vision is to seek to grow in relationship with God, to support senior adults in their faith, helping them to stay active spiritually, mentally, socially and physically. We also challenge active senior adults to provide spiritual comfort and care to their peers who are physically and emotionally afflicted.
