Senior Citizens Fellowship

“Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will hear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.” Isaiah 46:4

In 1992 a small group of nine members of our church (in the golden years of their lives) met together for breakfast and fellowship. We had such a wonderful and edifying time that we decided to hold regular meetings. A close bond between the members was built up and visitation was part of the programme. We held our meetings at the homes of our members.

Our aim was and still is to fellowship and to bring our friends (of about the same age) to the Lord. The fellowship has been great – talking of old times, of children, grandchildren, cooking recipes, car maintenance and even home-made remedies for aches and pains. Evangelism is also always in the minds of these senior citizens, Many have come to know the Lord in the later years of their lives and even remarked, “I should have come to know the Lord earlier!”

The senior Citizens’ Fellowship is a growing up community and we will be very glad to welcome you (the senior citizens) into our circle.

The senior citizens have a lot of valuable experiences to share, skills of great worth to impart and are steeped in history to give the background of our roots.
